SITE: WAKEFIELD RETAIL PARK 

The H20 Urban Park was developed as the answer to serious flooding problems that Wakefield suffers from. The proposed scheme also needed to respond to future sustainable energy needs, purification of water for the population and food supply via nourishment of crops. A number of water based projects were incorporated within the park for social and industrial needs, such as water harvesting, purification of water, controlled drainage, an algae farm plus an urban pool.
